Bring on the Bubbly!
You both said YES! Now tell the world!
The glow surrounding both of you shines brighter than a room full of diamonds! That’s why it’s incredibly important to hire the right professional photographer.
I’m an experienced portraiture and event photographer. I’m not a high volume photographer who shoots one wedding after another. I give the V.I.P. treatment to a limited number of engagement and wedding clients each year to ensure high quality and customized products.
You can count on me to take my time, and create amazing memories that will be cherished throughout your life together.
You are my priority. The entire time I’m working my camera and lights or in the editing suite, I’m thinking how these moments and images will be shared today and with generations to come.
You will think back on your engagement days many times throughout your life, and this sense of excitement is important. It’s the beginning of a life-long bond, that only glows brighter as you start your future together.
I am passionate about seizing these precious and exciting moments, using my camera to create works of art.
You won’t want to throw my images in a drawer or bury them on your laptop. You will cherish them for a lifetime! You’ll look back at each one and instantly recall feelings that make your heart swell.
When you are going through the album with family, your children, and grandchildren. When you’re going through life’s inevitable challenges. You’ll have it all-the desk photos, the wall portraits, the digital photo frame- a lasting reminder of your union’s beginning.
I capture your joyful moments, and the sweetness and sizzle of those days before you get married. For Engagement photos, I have a wide variety of options. I can snap photos as it’s taking place, at the location just after you pop the question, at my studio or another location. We’ll work together to make YOUR vision real.
My job is to make every moment seamless, beautiful, memorable, and fun.

Types of Sessions & How to Prepare
Pop The Question Surprise Sessions
- You know your future fiancé best. Consider how they will want to look in the images.
- Dress in complementary style for the surprise engagement venue. Consider how the location will influence what you wear.
- Think about how you want the end result to look and feel in your home, office, or on a computer screen.
- Make sure to include me in your plans as it helps me determine which lights, lenses, filters, or camera bodies to bring and how much time to allot.
- Prior to your session, contract forms must be signed, and the retainer needs to be paid two weeks in advance*.
Classic Engagement Portrait Sessions
- Have a great location that’s special to you? Let’s discuss!
- Need wardrobe selection help? Do not stress! I’m a phone call or FaceTime call away.
- Please steam or iron your clothes ahead of time.
- Wear something comfortable that makes you feel fabulous.
- It is important that your nails and cuticles are neat and clean as they will be seen when we show off your bling. Now’s the perfect time for a professional manicure. Please note, nail chips and cuticles can be fixed in post-production, but there is a $5/per photo nail-fix charge.
- Tattoos to feature or hide? No problem. Let me know.
- Prior to your session, contract forms must be signed, and the retainer needs to be paid two weeks in advance*.
Creative Engagement Portrait Sessions
- A few days prior to your session, visit the location around the same time of day we’ll be taking pictures, if possible.
- Do a wardrobe check by remote video or in-person in advance.
- Make sure your fingernails (and toenails if feet will be showing) are neat and clean! Getting a professional manicure is highly recommended. Please note, nail chips and cuticles can be fixed in post-production, but there is a $5/per photo nail-fix charge.
- Whatever you choose to wear, make sure you love it. Be comfortable.
- Clothing should complement the theme you’ve chosen, but avoid wearing anything distracting or over-the-top.
- Baby-bump engagement photos will focus first on the engagement and secondarily on the baby as parents desire. I offer an extensive wardrobe of dreamy gowns that can hide, disguise, or accentuate baby bumps.
- Prior to your session, contract forms must be signed, and the retainer needs to be paid two weeks in advance*.
